Kenmare is renowned for it's good quality restaurants, there are several top class restaurants located close to us. There are also good Chinese, Indian, Kebab Italian and the best of Fish ‘n Chips form a local take away.
For a small town Kenmare offers a host of interesting, quirky shops selling everything from hand made toys to lace to ladies fashions to fishing tackle and golf equipment. There are many art galleries too.
Kenmare is a heritage town so there is a heritage trail which is a very pleasant walk. The town is situated along probably the most famous science tour in Ireland – the Ring of Kerry and the lesser known (and some would say) more spectacular Beara peninsula and Healy Pass.
Kenmare golf course is located within walking distance of the Coachman’s. Ring of Kerry is 4 miles away. There are several golf courses located within an hours drive including famous courses there Bill Clinton and Tiger Woods have played.
