The cottage is over three hundred year old. It has been masterfully restored to a very high standard, which combine the best of the traditional style and modern comfort with ease.
Relax along the riverbank or just chill out with a good book from the house library in the beautiful quiet garden. The cottage is spacious with different living spaces. There are four bedrooms in the home, which can cater for up to eight people with tow double beds and four single beds. The kitchen is large and the herb garden nearby is great for creating culinary masterpieces. The immediate area has many sites of interest from early Christian monastic sites to ancient castles and secret valleys. There is a wonderful three-mile stretch of sandy beach in Ventry making it an attractive and popular spot for people of all ages with a selection of windsurfing, canoeing, diving and sunbathing. There are also a number of excellent restaurants and pubs nearby with lots of local humour, music and 'craic'.
