Welcome to the O’Shea Family Guesthouse.

Our doors have been open for over 14 years and we pride ourselves on a warm welcome, exceptional hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. From a much-needed cup of tea on arrival to our hearty home-cooked Irish breakfasts, we’ll ensure you are properly looked after and that you enjoy your stay with us.

Should you need to keep in touch with home, we offer complimentary Wifi Internet access to use at your leisure. We are also very happy to offer drying facilities should the occasional shower catch you out!  If you need some quiet time, there is a cosy TV Lounge and weather permitting, you can relax on the terrace over looking the gardens. 

Ideally located in the hub of Killarney Town Centre, Castle Lodge is a perfect base from which to explore the delights of Killarney and the many attractions that Kerry has to offer.

Castle Lodge is located in Killarney Town Center at the beginning of the Muckross Road (N71).

Castle Lodge is the first guesthouse on the right hand side after the traffic lights going in the Kenmare / Muckross House direction.

Castle Lodge Guesthouse is ideally situated in Killarney town center, so guests are within walking distance of the National Park and all local attractions, amenities, pubs, shops and restaurants.

We are located in the ideal area for exploring the Killarney and Co. Kerry region as we are situated on the Ring of Kerry.

You will arrive into a friendly atmosphere by being treated to a complimentary cup of tea on arrival and all guests are cooked a Full Irish breakfast each morning.

We offer 25 ensuite rooms, all cosy with individual traditional charm, while offering all modern facilities. In room facilities include TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. We have a garden where guests can also relax and enjoy the views and we provide free private car parking.

Cannot fault the Castle Lodge. Did have painting occurring when I arrived but was no hassle. Nice and clean, comfortable and nice breakfast. More a boutique hotel than B&B.

The Castle Lodge was just a short walk from the Main St of Killarney, making it easy to get to restaurants and shops. The accommodation was clean. My one fault with this accommodation was that there was no interaction with staff. We were checked in, served breakfast and checked out and these were the only interactions we had with anyone and all of these were very impersonal.
