Beaufort Lodge
is a beautiful traditional cottage, located in Beaufort village, 8 miles from Killarney, Co. Kerry.
The Cottage with all mod cons has a charm and character of its own, which is added by the stunning decor of the house. It has two bedrooms sleeping up to three people, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The Cottage is adjacent to the owners Family Home and B&B in a beautiful landscaped garden. Outside there is a cosy sitting area for guests..
This is an ideal touring location, close to Killarney National Park and town centre, the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula and many of the Championship golf courses that the Kingdom of Kerry has to offer.

Directions to beaufort lodge
Beaufort-Lodge is located about 8 miles west of Killarney.
From Killarney
follow N72 (Ring of Kerry) ca. 7 miles. At Beaufort Bridge turn left (in the direction of Beaufort and Gap of Dunloe). Follow the road for approximately 1 mile. Beaufort-Lodge is located 300 metres outside the Village after a curve at the right hand side.
Kerry Airport is only 20 miles away. For the drive from Cork Airport you should plan about 2 hours, from Shannon Airport about 3 hours.
Rooms
There are two bedrooms in this cottage, one double and one single..
All rooms of the cottage have antique pine flooring or natural slate. Both bedrooms are decorated with a lot of thought and character, examples of this are the iron beds in both rooms, oriental or woollen rugs and handcrafted timber furniture.
Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge.
Facilities
The kitchen of the cottage is fitted with all cooking facilities. The living room has a TV and rustic fire place.
Central heating throughout the house with 2 additional fire places.
Outside is a mature beautifully landscaped garden with seating area. A barbecue is available on request.
Breakfast can be booked in advance at a rate of €10 per person. We offer a choice of breakfasts, either a Full Irish with black and white pudding, sausages, bacon and eggs or the Farmhouse breakfast with a selection of cheese and ham. Fruit, muesli and other cereals along with preserves, juice, various breads are included in both breakfasts.

Beaufort Village is only a few minutes walk with 3 pubs and 2 restaurants. There is also a shop with post office in the village. Locally there are many walking trails, places to go fishing and golfing.
Also only 10 minutes drive from here is the Gap of Dunloe, this is a stunning glaciated valley which draws thousands of visitors year after year. You can walk or take a horse and carriage through the winding mountain range with it’s stunning views and lake.
For the more advanced walkers Ireland highest mountain 'Carrantuathail' is also close by.
Surrounding Area
Killarney town is only 8 miles from Beaufort, this bustling town offers a large variety of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.
Killarney National Park with Muckross House and Gardens and the Traditional Farms are a fantastic way of discovering traditional Ireland. Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, Ladies Veiw and the Lakes of Killarney are also well worth a visist for unforgettable memories./p>
