This course measures over 1 mile and 4 furlongs. Both flat and jump races are held here. There are many race days held here through out the year, including Ladies' Day in October.

Approximately fifteen miles from Mullingar, Kilbeggan is home to Locke's Distillery Museum believed to be the oldest Pot Still Distillery in the world. Visit to see how the famous Locke's whiskey was distilled. Guided tours available. There is also a Craft Shop and a Coffee Shop. Also in Kilbeggan is the only Turf Club approved race course in Westmeath....

This is a tradition that spans centuries past. It is a great place to test new young horses to see if they have any jumping or racing ability. The idea is simple, get from A to B as fast as you can through the fields of Wexford, jumping over fences on designated farmland....

This is one of Ireland premium race course. Every Easter Monday, since 1870,  the Irish Grand National is held here. This race attracts thousands of spectators.
