The Westgate Tower combines with the ancient and historic Selskar Abbey to be the perfect setting to understand the historical development of Wexford. Situated in the heart of the Viking and Norman walled town, the Tower features a top-class audio-visual story on the cosmopolitan history of Wexford town, with spectacular special effects.

Upstairs in the tower there are beautiful Norman rooms and a fine battlements walk to the Abbey. Average length of visit is 1 hour approx....

Cashel Heritage Centre

The Heritage Centre invites you to turn the key to the rich heritage of Cashel, one of Ireland's most significant Ecclesiastical Centres dating to before Saint Patrick. It provides the visitor with a series of changing exhibitions, a large scale model of Cashel in the 1640's, highlighting the lesser known treasures of the town.

The finest and best preserved of all the town fortifications of Ireland are the walls of the city of Derry, or Londonderry as it became known after the city was granted to the London Companies by a charter of James 1 in 1613. It was these planters who laid out the town on a cross-shaped street grid and surrounded it with town walls between 1613 and 1618.

De Valera Museum And Bruree Heritage Centre

This visitor centre is located where Eamonn de Valera, former President of Ireland, grew up. The cottage in which he lived is now preserved and the national school he attended houses a museum dedicated to his memory. Audio-visual presentations relate stories about Bruree and the de Valera association.
