Kilrush, Clare
Cappa Pier is a small rocky beach, with a small pier and harbour. It is located in Kilrush in County Clare and is a recognised Blue Flag beach.
Close by you can find Scattery Island. This is a place well worth visiting and a good place for birdwatchers.
The beach has Lifeguard cover from July to August. Cappa Beach is situated 1km from Kilrush on the R473....

Dunfanaghy, Donegal
Marble Hill, another of Dunfanagh’s blue flag beaches, is located on the north-west coast of Donegal. Situated in Sheephaven Bay, it is an extensive sandy beach and is home to a lot of varieties of wildlife.
The fun sand dunes have many flowers and bird species – in fact this is one of the last areas in Ireland where you may hear the rare bird, the Corncrake, calling.
Marble Hill is used mainly by the local community and receives large numbers of visitors during peak times....

Curracloe, Wexford
Curracloe Beach is a regular holder of the Blue Flag Beach status. The dunes are currently the subject of an active conservation policy by Wexford County Council ensuring that this marvellous amenity and the plant and wildlife it contains, will be preserved for future generations. A nature trail runs through the dunes and continues for 5 km to Raven Point, passing through the beautiful peninsula which constitutes Raven Nature Reserve....

White Strand beach is small sandy beach located just 2km from Miltown Malbay. This blue flag beach can also be found close to Lahinch.

Limavady, Derry
Benone Strand is a blue flag beach located in Limavady in County Derry. You’ll be glad to hear that the clean, golden sands of Benone Strand are free from rocks, shingle or seaweed and are preceded by the glorious natural formations of Benone's sand dunes.
If rambling through the sand dunes or walking the seven mile stretch of golden sands isn't enough to wet your appetite, then there are plenty of other things you can do to occupy your time.

Ballyvaughan, Ballyvaughan, Clare
Fanore is a blue flag beach, which can be found in Ballyvaughan in north west Clare. If you’re visiting the area be sure to stroll along the sandy shore or better still enjoy a swim in the cool Atlantic sea.
Found close to the Burren, even Fanore Beach can boast the delicate limestone cliffs that the area is renowned for.
