Staff were very good. Also workmen on an adjacent site started using heavy drilling machinery very early on the day we due to leave. A very generous offer compensating us for the disruption was made before we had the opportunity to bring it to the hotel's attention. Staff clearly can empathise with their guests and this sets them apart in today's commercial world where customers are usually ripped off. We need more businesses to realise that it is good business sense to look after ones customers.
