It's was a really nice place with very friendly staff. The downpoint was that there wasn't an awful lot of parking in the rear of the hotel so we had to leave one of our cars on the road outside, but it was safe there.
The Staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly. I felt very welcomed. I will recommend Wards to anyone I know who is interested in visiting Galway.

Its a great old fashioned hotel. Lots of character. Not too big. Nice to wander about during the day then come back to Ward's and have a couple of relaxing drinks before retiring to bed.
I am just home from Wards and I had the best few days, staff were so good and helpful!
Very friendly and helpful staff. And most importantly non-intrusive. We were allowed to get on wth enjoying our holiday without any interruption. Bar was great and we had the added bonus af a sessiún one evening.
A nice cozy place within a relatively long walk to Galway city centre but rather clase to the bay at Salthill.
Warming welcome. We had booked two rooms. The first one was lovely and all utilies ok. Unfortunately the second one had one light in the toilets and shower was not working properly. The location is fantastic 15 min walk for city center. Nice cosy pub attached for relaxing evening with locals.
The hotel staff was very helpful and kind, I dont speak good english and they helped a lot. The breakfast was excellent!!

This hotel is very good, well located, nice staff and a excellent pub downstairs! If you return at evening from a Galway city center walk, it's very nice have a final pint, see and listen a band playing tradicional music before go to your bed!
