The cottages are located on the Gaeltacht Island off Leitir Móir, which is joined to the Connemara mainland by bridge.

Directions from Galway City to the Island Holiday Cottages
Take the Coast Road (R336) from Galway City – you will go through Salthill, Barna, Spiddal (Spideal) and Inverin (Indreabhán).
At Costello (Casla) take the first rights after the Texaco Station.
Continue on that road for about 4.5 miles – you will go over a bridge and then pass a pub called “An Hooker”.
The Island Cottages are 500 metres from the Pub on your right hand side and are well signposted.

Each cottage consists of three bedrooms; two twin bedded rooms downstairs and one large double bedroom upstairs. All bedrooms have ample storage space and W.H.B.
All bed linen is supplied; cots and highchairs are available upon request.
The cottages are very spacious boasting a large sitting room where one can relax in front of an open fire, dining area and kitchen with all modern conveniences.

Each of the thirteen cottages are fully equipped to cater for six persons, with three bedrooms, large sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and ample storage space.
All cottages boast modern conveniences including electric heaters, storage heating, washing machine, dryer, electric cooker, microwave oven and also an open-hearth fireplace.
Ideal for families, groups and sub aqua clubs indeed the Island Holiday Cottages and the surrounding area have something to suit everyone’s tastes.
