Galway is perfectly located in the middle of the Western Seaboard. From here you can head south to County Clear and check out the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. If you head west you can visit the Aran Islands by boat from the harbour. Heading north will get you into the scenic wonderland that is Connemara.
