saint patricks festival galway 2008

With the recently refurbished Eyre Square, the Parade returns to the heart of Galway City. With expectations of upwards of 50,000 spectators, there will be much merriment and entertainment for everyone, young and old. With the success of the walking floats in the last few years, the theme is continued this year with a ban on vehicles into the city, with the exception of vintage cars.
