Welcome to Riverwalk House

Riverwalk House is a beautiful B&B, which is located in the well-known County of Galway. Situated in a peaceful location yet only a 3-minute walk to the centre of the picturesque village of Oughterard.
While in Oughterard why not take the time to relax and enjoy the array of fine traditional pubs and restaurants in the area.
Galway County itself is full of scenic beauty; take the time to explore The Burren, Aran Islands and the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher.

0.5km from the village - Only a 0.2km walk away.

From Galway (N59 Clifden Road). On arrival in Oughterard village follow the main road down towards the church and a bridge. Go over the bridge and take a right along the little river.  We are located 200 metres from bridge on the right (signposted at bridge) 

From Clifden (N59 Galway Road).  On approached into Oughterard from Clifden/Maam Cross) . At bridge we are signposted. follow the road along side the little river.  200 metres from bridge on right.

It was a lovely house a short walk from the town, and not far from the golf course. It had beautiful gardens and lovely dining room. However, on the down side the actual town has a lot of places which have closed down giving a bit of a derelict appearance when you walk in from the B&B. The B&B was in a great position for local sightseeing and we felt very welcome there.
