Portfinn Lodge and Restaurant is a modern split level House, which is beautifully located overlooking the spectacular Killary Fiord in Leenane in County Galway. It is also home to a delicious seafood restaurant, which serves the very best of local produce. Children’s meals and private car parking are also available.

Leenane is situated mid way between Westport and Clifden, on the top of the Killary Fiord from Galway. Right at Maam Cross and follow signs.

Description

Portfinn Lodge consists of eight beautiful bedrooms, which are all ensuite. The bedrooms are bright, spacious and tastefully furnished to create a relaxing haven allowing you to relax and unwind. Facilities include a guest lounge, landscaped gardens, free WIFI, fantastic views of the surrounding area. 

The restaurant at Portfinn Lodge caters for small private parties and special family occasions such as small weddings or christening. After a day touring this scenic area guests can tuck into some delicious dishes at Portfinn restaurant such as Turbot in Champagne, fresh salmon and lobster all complimented with a beautiful wine list.

The area of Leenane is known worldwide for its natural and scenic beauty. Portfinn lodge is a relaxing retreat for all.  Activities such as angling, golf,  scubadiving, cycling , walking and hiking can all be enjoyed locally.

Portfinn Lodge and Restaurant has recently been featured in Georgina Campbell’s Guide to Ireland  and BIM Seafood Circle of Ireland.

A few friends

Was taking part in Connemara Adventure Race and going home same day. Asked for shower but no joy-considering we arrived at 8pm on Friday and gone at 9am next day we only wanted 10 minutes in a bathroom. It would have been nice not to drive to Dublin after a shower instead of four hours dirty and stinking. But still a good B&B

Location is fantastic, beautiful views. Food in restarant really good, esp if you like seafood. Really handy for village. No tv or tea-making facilities in rooms though. Asked for a room with tv and there are none, also they didnt want us having tea served in our room. Overall very beautiful views and good value for money, very convenient having restarant there also but think room facilites could be updated a bit.
