Portarra lodge is located in the the beautiful shores of Lough Corrib in Moycullen in County Galway.
The charming Bed and Breakfast offers luxurious accommodation and is an angler’s paradise as it specializes in game and coarse fishing with private piers boats and engines available. Golf, horseriding, walking and cycling are just some of the other activities, which can be enjoyed locally. Portarra Lodge has its own private garden, where you can relax in the long hours of sunshine and enjoy the breathtaking views of Lough Corrib.
Your hosts, Michael & Maire Canney will ensure a warm welcome and will answer any questions you may have about the local area.

From Galway travel the N59 (Clifden Route) to Moycullen Village. In Moycullen follow the signpost for Tullkyne for 4km and come to Hurney's Pub on left. 100 meters after the pub turn right and continue for 1.5km entrance on left

Portarra Lodge consists of 5 large and comfortable bedrooms all of which are ensuite.
The bedrooms are tastefully decorated throughout, allowing you to relax in style.

The lounge and reception area are beautifully furnished with timber floors and traditional open fires, which gives the B&B its homely ambience.

Lough Corrib is an anglers paradise. As well as its scenic beauty, it also offers the chance to fish for brown trout, salmon, pike, perch and eels.
Walking and Cycling
Moycullen is the perfect place to keep fit during your holiday as it has 10 walking routes and many of them are close to the Lodge. The length of the walks varies from 5 km to 16 km. Detailed maps of these routes are available at the lodge. Bikes are also available at the Lodge, free of charge.
