While you are there, a short trip trekking around the wonderful landscape of the Connemara National Park will leave you feeling exhilarated. Take the ferry across to the Aran Islands where you have a wide variety of prehistoric monuments to see as you roam around this beautiful and unspoilt countryside. Set off another day to Galway City and if you’re lucky enough you might even experience some of the great festivals the city is renowned for. Whatever you decide to do Galway has plenty of options to keep you in tiptop form!
