New Inn

This quiet village lies on the former main road from Galway to Dublin via Athenry. The Raford River, which becomes the Dunkellin River later, rises in either side of New Inn. The village, although not large, has a Vocational School, whose teams have been quite successful in Gaelic games in recent times.
