is just 4.4km away, where you can have a look around it's fantastic shops and galleries.
Why not kick start your holiday with a round of golf in the nearby seaside resort of Salthill. Angling is located in Barna Pier, which is just 2.5km from the property. If you would like to see some of Galway’s outstanding scenic countryside, then a visit to the
Aran Islands
and
Connemara
is well worth a visit.
When night falls upon Galway, dress up and hit the city, enjoy it's many traditional bars and appetising restaurants.
Directions to mcdonnell
Follow signs for Salthill & Spiddal as you approach Galway, this will take you to the Promenade/Sea at Salthill. Turn right and continue along by the sea to your left, past Golf Club to your right and Spinnaker Hotel on your left. You will come to a T junction. Turn left onto the Barna Rd, there is a sign for Barna at this point - you are now 2.5km from the house. Travel along this road to Cappagh Rd - watch out for this sing to your right hand. Turn right down Cappagh Rd, Woodfield is marked by a stone sign to your left. Travel down Cappagh Rd and take the 1st turn left & turn left again.The house numbers are marked at the turn - No.38 is the 4th house on your left.
