From Headford take the Greenfields Rd at Varleys Pub.Continue on this road and take the second road to the right (1.9miles/3km) Follow this road (3 miles/4.8km)until you come to a right angled bend in the road.At this bend take the private road to the left.Continue on this road to the end until you come to Lighthouse Lodge which is the last house on the left hand side. Wonderful cottage with spectacular views of the Lough, which was only a few short steps away. The cottage contained everything we needed and was very warm and comfortable. The nearest shop was about 5 miles away, so was a very secluded getaway.
