Into the West Horse-Drawn Caravans Ltd. offer you the unique opportunity of exploring the wonders of nature "Gypsy Style". Situated in one of Ireland's most scenic locations, the Slieve Aughty Mountains are unknown and secret, hidden away from the beaten track. Lovely and enticing uplands broken only by pretty streams, these tender hills offer quiet secluded lanes and by-ways - perfect for touring by horse and caravan.

Traveling at a gentle, graceful pace you chance upon the real "Irish People" and enjoy their genial good humour and unique way of life. Each night your horse will graze in a farmers field while you repair to the local hostelry and dream away the hours in the warm murmur of convivial conversation.

Each traditional style Gypsy caravan includes 4 - 5 berths with foam mattresses, bedding and bed linen. The berths convert into seating accommodation during the day. Light, heat and cooking (4 burners) is by bottled gas and included in the rental. A sink unit, hanging space, drawers, shelves, built in cupboards and all necessary eating and kitchenware are provided. Fire extinguisher, water containers, fodder for horses plus door lock are also included.
