Located in Inishbofin Island, just off the coast of Connemara in County Galway. Via Car: Head north to Oughterard and onwards towards Clifden. From Clifden follow the signposts to Cleggan to board The Island Discovery Passenger Ferry. (Park your car near the pier) Time: Car 1hr 15 minutes. Ferry: 35 minutes approx.
Helicopter: Flights from Executive Helicopters in Oranmore on the outskirts of Galway City. Time: 30 minutes approx.
Aeroplane: Service not yet available, but scheduled for 2008. Flights will mainly be from Clifden.
Via Bus: Daily Bus Services to and from Galway city operate to coincide with Ferry arrival and departure times.

Suba diving This area is the perfect place to enjoy all that the crystal clear Irish waters have to offer. There are also many safe beaches for swimming enthusiasts.
Cycling With little traffic on Inishbofin, cycling can be a relaxing experience. Bike hire can easily be arranged. It’s also the perfect way to capture on camera the breathtaking beauty that surrounds you.
Boating Boat trips can be arranged to islands such as Inishark, which was abandoned in the 1960’s with remains of dwelling houses still visible. Trips can also be arranged to Inishturk, which is the nearest inhabited island.
Walking Visitors can also enjoy several interesting walks taking them to different points of historical interest such as Cromwell’s Castle. Maps are supplied free of charge to all guests and guided walks can be arranged by request only.
Horseriding Enjoy a three hour trick to Omey Island, All abilities catered for.
