Hernons Bed & Breakfast
A regular bus service runs from Galway to Rossaveal. If you are travelling by car, take the main coast road from Galway city (R336).
Rossaveal is located approx 24 miles (38km) from the city.
Hernon's B&B is located on the main road just before you reach the Rossaveal ferry terminal/harbour.

Within 10kms

There are two ferry companies in operation: Island Ferries and Inis Mór Ferries. Both companies offer modern, safe and comfortable ferries guaranteeing to have you on an Island of your choice within 35-40 minutes with access to Inis Mór (the largest island), Inis Meáin (the centre island) and Inis Oirr (the smallest of the three islands). All three islands are seeped in history and some fantastic history sites, ie Dún Aonghus, Seven Churches, Arkin Castle to name but a few.

This property is a mere five minutes walk from the Aran Ferries, so after a great nights sleep and hearty breakfast why not pop across and explore the scenic wonders that the Islands have to offer.

Walking distance from the ferry to the Aran Islands. Free parking. Spacious room. Breakfast was nice, but not quite the full Irish, as promised and as noted in the in-room brochure. Room was terribly cold, as was the bathroom. No hot water from the sink. Theres not much in or around the place other than the local Spar. Only one restaurant within 4 kilometers, which closes early.
