Western Cultural and Heritage Tourism organise walking tours off Galway City which explore the core and the history of medieval Galway. Tours are held daily between June and August, beginning at 2.30pm from Galway Tourist Office. Tickets can be bought in advance. Take an opportunity to see Galway city's signts in style, by travelling in either of the city's beautiful touring buses. Lally Coaches run tours from Eyre Square on a 1961 Route Master bus, while Hugh Ryan operates tours of city and Connemara in a 1942 dark green 29 seater Bedford bus - The Connemara Bus. All of Galway's main sights feature in the city tours, including the Spanish Arch, the Claddagh, Salthill and outlying areas of interest.
