Directions

From Galway, take the N59 to Moycullen, turn right at Moycullen towards Knockferry and Collinamuck. Continue for 6.5 miles until signpost for Knockferry and Burnthouse. Turn right to Burnthouse. Follow road to 6th bungalow on right (Mrs. Peggy Carter) Forsyth Cottage is next on right (wooden gate).

The property is family friendly with many outdoor activities situated close by for the children. It also has a private car park.
While in Knockferry why not enjoy a round of golf at Oughterard golf course or maybe you would prefer to have a relaxing day angling on the River Corrib. If you have an interest in old history you might like to take a trip to Oughterard to see the mystical Aughnanure Castle and O’Flahertys Castle
Another touring idea would be to hire a car and capture some of the beautiful scenery of the numerous scenic drives in Galway.
