Welcome to Forest Hill, this is an ideal base for touring the beautiful Connemara region. This charming Bed and Breakfast which is located just 2 miles from the historic village of Oughterard in County Galway.
This beautiful B&B has been purposely built to offer guests a relaxing haven away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. This relaxing ambience is evident throughout the house and also in its location, situated just 2 minutes walk from the scenic splendor of Lough Corrib.
Forest Hill B&B is a fantastic base from which to explore Connemara with its stony mountains, turf bogs, lakes and breathtaking scenery, which is bound to have a therapeutic effect on your soul.

Take the N59 from Galway, this will bring you to centre of Oughterard village, take a right At Lake Hotel come to end of rd take left, 2 miles out Glann road.

Kylemore Abbey and the world-renowned scenic sky road are all located nearby. We are also just 30 minutes drive to the port for the Aran Islands Ferries and 20 minutes walk to the opening of the Western Way Walk which is one of the most spectacular walking routes in Ireland.

Very nice house, near the lake. Nice spacious bedrooms. Excellent traditional irish breakfast. Good suggestion from the owner about restaurant in Oughterard.
