Built in 1969 by Mr Frank Flannery the hotel has seen many changes throughout the years and it now stands proud on the outskirts of Galway City boasting 136 well appointed, newly refurbished Bedrooms & Suites, 2 Bars/Lounges and the award winning "Galwegian's Restaurant".

The hotel is located on the main Galway - Dublin Road and is 2 Kilometres from Galway's City Centre. From Dublin take the N6. From N6, follow signs for Galway through 3 roundabouts. At the third roundabout, take the 1st left(Galway City East/Docks).
Pass Galway Crystal, then through another roundabout, the hotel is on right.(Dublin to Galway 216Km) From Cork take the N20 to Limerick, and from Limerick take the N18. Follow signs for Galway as above.(Cork to Galway 209Km).
