Flannery’s B&B is right on the bus line to Eyre Square or a nice walk through old-world narrow medieval streets, sophisticated fashion stores with craft and antique shops, open markets, friendly pubs, genuine Irish and international restaurants, discos for the younger parties and art galleries galore.
Leisureland Swimming Complex is just around the corner and the Aquarium has a great selection of mostly native Irish fish. There’s no shortage of places to see and things to do while staying in the west of Ireland.

Day Tours
If you’d like to take a scenic journey of the area, then the hosts can arrange day tours and pick-up points for you.
The Burren is just south of Galway Bay and is an interesting and unique place to visit. The landscape is unusual yet the flora and fauna that can be found here are interesting and beautiful. Climb over limestone rocks and see the evidence of Neolithic age tombs at every glance.
Connemara and the Aran Island have the most breathtaking scenery you are likely to come across. Most of these areas are Irish speaking but the friendly locals will make you feel at home almost immediately. Take a trip back in time as you visit the romantic Kylemore Abbey or the astounding Dun Aengus Fort.
