Fairhill House Hotel can also arrange a spot of fly-fishing with or without a ghillie on one of the lakes nearby or a morning's horse-riding in nearby Cong. Excellent fly-fishing opportunities continue right through to the end of September on all the nearby lakes. The much-prized Atlantic salmon can be caught on the fly on Lough Corrib -licence required. Tasty packed lunches will be ready and waiting as you leave the hotel in the morning for a pleasant day's outing and don’t worry, if the weather is wet there is a large drying room where your gear will be will looked after .
