Galway
Cornerstones B&B is centrally located in the village of Moyard in County Galway. It’s right in the heart of the most fantastic scenery that Connemara has to offer. The large house is maintained to a high standard and offers beautiful views of The Twelve Bens Mountains and crystal clear lakes from every window.
From the moment you arrive, the property owners make you feel at ease. The house is slightly modern and has all the conveniences you would expect of an approved B&B but at the same time, a real homely, relaxed atmosphere exudes from the place.
This B&B has received numerous awards in recent years for dedication, hospitality and high standard of service in the industry including awards in 2007 & 2008 with Family Homes of Ireland, Certificate of Outstanding Performance and Excellence in Family Homes ‘Best Family Homes Award'.

Throughout your stay, your expectations of spaciousness, comfort, charm and sheer beauty of the surrounding area will be fulfilled. Come and see for yourself!
From Galway City;
Take the N59 to Clifden for approximately 50 miles. Once in Clifden, keep following the N59 towards Letterfrack/Westport, taking a right at the ESSO Station. About 6.5 miles from Clifden, there is a craft shop on your right. Continue straight ahead and take the next left signposted Cornerstones B&B. The property is the first house on the left on this road.
Bedroom
The four en suite bedrooms are tastefully appointed. Each room is decorated individually and has its own unique style. There are tea/coffee making facilities as well as a hospitality tray awaiting you on arrival. It’s apparent that the owners put a lot of thought in to the room facilities as they also provide the convenience of hair dryers and TV’s in the bedrooms. What more could you ask for?
Sitting Room
Upon arrival, sit down and recharge the batteries with a nice hot cup of tea or coffee and some home baking from the busy kitchen. After a tiring journey, the refreshing views from the sitting room will have you itching to get back out and explore the rest of this enchanting place.
Catch up on local news or chat with fellow holidaymakers in the comfortable TV lounge. If you’re new to the area, the owners have a great selection of Tourist Information to make the most of your time in the area.
If hill walking is your passion, a packed lunch can be arranged for you.
