This beautiful Bed and Breakfast offers you comfortable accommodation and is close to all amenities. The property is just 2km from Galway city centre, allowing you to enjoy its vibrant and colourful atmosphere.
There is also a frequent bus service available to the city from outside Claremount House.
Claremount House enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of Galway Bay from the Double Rooms and the dining area. You can indulge in the many outdoor pursuits available in Salthill, such as tennis, horseriding, windsurfing, fishing and golf.

Directions

From Trian Station turn left and take the next  left  along dock road continue straight again to Salthill  when  your arrive in Salthill continue driving with the t sea on the  left hand side, Galway Bay Hotel and Salthill Hotel will be on the  right hand side. At the  end of  Promenade, you wil see the golf course  and we are at the end of the golf course opposite the  Spinnaker hotel

Claremount House is located at the top of Salthill Promenade, it is convenient to nightly entertainment, Leisureland Complex, traditional pubs and fantastic restaurants. You also have the opportunity to indulge in the beautiful crystal waters of Galway Bay, take advantage of its rolling surf or enjoy a relaxing evenings stroll along the sandy beach.
Tennis, fishing, horseriding and blue flag beaches are all located nearby.

There are three bedrooms in this B&B, 2 double and 1 twin room, all of which are ensuite. All rooms have 5 foot beds with Goose Donn duvets and pillows. All rooms have panoramic sea views and are beautifully furnished with the guests comfort in mind.

Steven and Anna helped with all questions, also the Sightseeing-Tours and called the busses to stop in front of the B&B; they are very friendly; the sight to the Bay of Galway is great also.

The welcome was friendly enough, but the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom was not what we expected. Being told that we were not allowed to eat or drink in our room was also not helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was good. However at 100 Euros for one night, this was poor value for money for a B&B about one hour's walk from Galway.
