A few friends

It was very pleasant and quiet at the home. Anne was an amazing host who cared for us yet gave us enough privacy. Knowing that we are foreign students, she drove out to pick us up when we got lost trying to find our way to her place. She also dropped us into town on the other two days we stayed and gave us very useful information on how to get ferry and tour tickets. Breakfasts were scrumptious (the homemade bread was fantastic) and very filling - we could go without lunch. We re not used to the cold in our own rooms here, yet the room was sufficiently heated and extra blankets were provided. My friend and I were very reluctant to leave because the warmth that we felt at the house was just what we needed so many miles away from home in the bitter cold.
