The accommodation stands proudly on its own grounds and It is located on a farm at the foot of Benlavy, between lakes Corrib and Mask. This holiday home contains three comfortable bedrooms, bath and shower. It has a beautiful kitchen and dining area. Allow yourself to kick your shoes off in the sitting room in front of an open fire and let the stresses of life melt away.

Galway – travel on the N87 to Headford and Cong and keep left at Cong village. At the post office in Corr Na Mona take a right and travel 3.2km to Old House, turn right then first left.
To make your stay even more unique, there is some delightful homemade bread available. The accommodation is in a fantastic location for angling, mountaineering and touring the local area. There are many scenic drives in Galway and it is an ideal base for touring Connemara. There is a boat available, so get your straw hat, sandals and a good book and let yourself drift at your own leisure on one of the pretty lakes in the area. Galway’s vast countryside will certainly leave a lasting impression making you want to return again. Owners live adjoining.

The house is very comfortable, we had a warm welcome, and we enjoyed the bread offered to welcome us and the fire.This is a nice place to go and visit the connemara, very quiet.
