From The South
On approach to Galway on the N59 take an immediate right at the ‘ESSO’ gas station. From ‘ESSO’ continue driving for about 2.5km and Bay View is on the right hand side.
From The North
Coming from Westport/Letterfrack on the N59, Bay View Bed and Breakfast is a split-level bungalow on the left hand side.
Rooms
There are a total of 4 spacious and well- appointed bedrooms in the bed and breakfast. The rooms are tastefully decorated with crisp colourful bed linen and calming tones on the walls.
Each of the guestrooms has full en-suite facilities as well as hair dryer, hospitality tray, TV, orthopaedic beds and electric blankets to keep you cosy on those chilly nights.

As you relax in the lounge in the evening, you can watch the sunset over Streamstown Bay. As the sky turns the water placid hues of amber and gold if offers you a chance to unwind in attractive surroundings.

Clifden is a beautiful town, which is getting a lot more popular for visitors to the area. It lies on the fringes of the Connemara countryside and has some fantastic scenery as well as numerous activities such as horse-riding, walking, fishing and golfing to mention a few.
If you are one of many who consider shopping a sport in it’s own right, then you have come to the right place. There are a variety of choices in Clifden from sweater shops, quality gift shops, boutiques to antique and souvenir shops. Did you know that just 3 miles south of Clifden is a monument to the historic crash landing site of the first transatlantic flight of Alcock and Brown in 1919.

A trip to Galway is not complete until you have toured the inspiring countryside of Connemara. The Connemara National Park is just 11 miles north of Clifden and is a must-see for guests to the area. The impressive and stunning natural beauty of the Park will leave you speechless and whether it rains or shines you’ll have some fantastic photographs to bring home with you.
