I stayed in the Ardagh hotel on Saturday night in Room 21. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff and the hotel itself! The rates were very reasonable and dinner (I had the turbet) was one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. I will definately be returning, and I will recommend Ardagh to anyone who will listen. There were no bad points and I think for Ardagh its just a matter of "keep up the excellent work"
It is a very nice hotel, it could do with a bit of a revamp in the decor department but it was very cosy all the same. The hotel was very clean, comfortable bed! spotless bathroom, and overall very cosy and welcoming. The restaurant was a bit overpriced but the food was excellent. House wine is very good also! Overall a realy nice hotel tucked away but within easy distance to Clifden and surrounding areas. Would definatley go back again.
