Directions

Take a right at The Boat Inn in Oughterard, then take the first left onto Glann ( Lake) Road, travel approximately 1.5km to Annakeen. The house is on the left-hand side of the road.

Located just 4 kilometers from town, Annakeen is convenient for hiking, angling, golfing, pony trekking, boating, and touring Connemara. Oughterard is a charming town with quiet a few shops, bars, and restaurants.

Buses operate daily to Galway City 18 miles away, where travelers can make touring connections by rail or bus to nearby attractions.

There are some beautiful castles to be discovered in Oughterard. To relax you can go for a spot of angling in the peaceful Lough Corrib or tour the unspoilt landscape of Connemara.
