world rally championships 2009

The 7 counties of Cavan, Leitrim, Fermanagh, Sligo, Tyrone, Donegal and Roscommon in the North West of Ireland are gearing-up as they prepare for 18 stages of the World Rally Championship. The ceremonial start to the event will take place in Enniskillen on the 29th January with the first stage starting in Cavan on the 30th January. The stages of the Rally will take the drivers through 1407km in six counties before finishing up in Donegal town on the Sunday . The final stage will be broadcasted to a live global audience.

Another 11 rounds will take place throughout 2009 in different locations worldwide gripping a gobal audience of upto 800 million people.
