Set in 200 acres of rolling pastures and extensive woodland, the attractive facade of Necarne Castle itself provides an impressive backdrop for all equestrian events. Many of the historic outbuildings have been tastefully redeveloped to provide an impressive range of indoor and outdoor facilities.
The refurbished courtyard area of the Castle retains a timeless reminder of the golden era of equestrians and now houses extensive modern stabling facilities. The original walled garden now provides a superb show jumping arena and a challenging cross-country course has been developed on the estate.
The facilities provide active participation in a range of events, dressage and show jumping activities including international competitions. A full events programme is available guaranteeing you an exciting experience whether participating or spectating.

Whether you are a novice or a more experienced rider, the facilities offer plenty of scope, either on one of Necarne's horses or ponies or on your own. Admire the beauty and charm of Necarne Estate while trekking along one of the picturesque trails.
Take the opportunity to master new skills and techniques or brush up on old ones with professional tuition. For the novice, a BHS qualified instructor can take you through your first steps. The experienced rider can enjoy the thrill of the more challenging test of the excellent cross country courses. At the end of an energetic day relax in the informal and welcoming bar and restaurant. You may choose to stay overnight in the comfortable ensuite accommodation on site or in one of the local hotels or guesthouses where the visitor will be guaranteed a warm Fermanagh welcome.
When not riding, take advantage of the location of Necarne to tour the countryside and Lakeland, visit some of our most famous tourist attractions like the Marble Arch Caves, Beleek Pottery, Ardhowen Theatre or our historic buildings like Enniskillen Castle, Devenish Island or the National Trust properties. Savour the delight of a visit to Necarne whether for a family day out, short break or longer stay holiday. It will be an unforgettable experience and one to be repeated again and again.
