Lough Melvin:
(16km by 5km) Makes the fisherman's pulse race. Why? It is probably the last lake in Europe to possess three species of wild brown trout - Ferox, Sonaghan and Gillaroo. Unique fish, must I add. Fishing season commences on 1st February and ends on 30th September.

Lower Lough Erne:
(32km by 11km) Famous for its large brown trout. Season starts 1st March and ends 30th September. Its excellent "mayfly" season starts about 20th May - 10th June. Trout range from 0.5km to 7kg. The salmon season is very good in August and September. There is ideal coarse fishing with numerous perch, bream and pike.

Lough Macnean:
(13km by 3km) The ideal lake for the angler looking for a specimen fish with its numerous pike, bream and a few large brown trout.

Lough Latoone:
(1km by 0.5km) Numerous small brown trout, ideal for the beginner. At the end of the day the angler's catch could be up to 100.

Lough Scolban:
The deserted lake, as locals ignore it for game fishing. The lake is full of pike and an 11kg pike is a common catch.

Roogagh River:
This river runs through the village of Garrison and has a considerable amount of small brown trout.

River Erne:
(6km long) Excellent for its salmon and trout fishing with very good clean banks to fish.

Sea Fishing:
Sea fishing in the Atlantic Ocean is only 11km away Boats with or without engines available at every location Ghillies with full knowledge of the fishing in the area available on reqest

Cruise on Lough Erne:
See the country side from a different perspective - the cruiser MV "Kestrel" departs from the Round 'O' jetty in Enniskillen. The trip lasts up to 2 hours and stops off at Devenish Island - a noted landmarked in Fermanagh. On the island there is a perfect round tower dating from the 12th century, or travel from Belleek on "Harp of Erne" waterbus.
