COUNTY FERMANAGH


1. Devenish Island Monastic Site

Lough Erne's most important island monastery, founded in the 6th century by St Molaise. Extensive remains include 12th Century round tower which can be climbed.


2. White Island Monastic Site

Seven stone figures from vanished 10th-century monastery, inside ruined 12th-century church. Ferry from Castle Archdale marina.
