The World of Guinness:
Situated in the heart of old Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse is your introduction to the world's most famous creamy stout. Established in 1876, when Guinness was poised to become the largest brewery in the world, the Storehouse remained crammed with hopsacks (usually called bales or pockets) until 1957 when another storehouse replaced it.
The Storehouse has now been converted into one of Dublin's finest venues for historical and cultural exhibitions and events. Here you can visit the world of Guinness, an exciting re-telling of the Guinness story through museum displays and audio-visual presentations.

Brewing Display:
You can walk through a reconstructed Victorian mash tun for your introduction to the brewing lesson. These enormous vessels (of which there were 24 in the old brewhouse) were built by the old Dublin engineering company of William Spence, in nearby Cork Street.
You can then enjoy an entertaining display of each of the raw materials used in the making of Guinness...Yeast, Hops, Barley and Water.
Reflections on Guinness:
The acclaimed multi-media audio-visual programme reflections on Guinness brings both the historical and contemporary brewery before you and shows you how Guinness is today one of the foremost drinks companies in the world.
The cooperage:
Here you will find one of the most comprehensive collections of cooper tools in Europe complete with oak casks of all sizes displayed in an authentic brewery setting. Old film clips show the master coopers at work.
Transport Gallery:
Getting Guinness to Market is the theme of the transport display. This includes a narrow gauge steam locomotive, models of the Guinness ships and a film of the company's links with the Grand Canal. The once familiar dray horse has been replaced by the modern lorry. But Guinness is still Guinness and Ireland's favourite draught is now enjoyed in over 140 countries worldwide.
The Sample Bar:
In the comfortable surroundings of the Visitor's Bar you can sample a glass or two (or, if you prefer, a bottle) of GUINNESS, for which Dublin has become famous throughout the world.
Souvenir Shop:
A wide variety of Guinness related sourvenirs is available in the Souvenir Shop along with many attractive gifts of Irish interest.
Why not pay us a visit and experience The World of Guinness for yourself.
