Excellent friendly service and lovely hotel.
Staff was really friendly and there is nothing to complain about, very good hotel!
When i got to my room it was extremely cold and there was no heating working.I had to phone reception and a mobile heater was brought to my room. I also had to request ordinary coffee as there was only de-caff available.I was given a room with a dividing door to another ( family rooms ) and could hear TV and conversation loudly until early hours. Overall not happy with the room experience.
The bartender was lovely and very nice. The "reception" girls could not have been more rude and unhelpful if they tried. It was the last day of a 2 wk trip and i "treated" myself to a not cheap hotel; very disappointing.
I arrived after the restaurant had closed at 9.30pm. The only food available from room service was sandwiches which I found quite disappointing for a city centre hotel. Also, I was charged €5.50 for a 1/4 bottle of wine in the bar before 11.30pm. I had another 1/4 bottle after 11.30pm, ordered through the night porter which cost €7.00, a 27% price increase for no apparent reason. I have not encountered this before and don't understand why it should happen, for what is after all a normal service supplied by every hotel.
ROOM WAS CLEAN AND AIRY BUT BASIC
THe phones did not work, we were put on the same floor as a wedding party, hence we got no sleep as they were running around the halls until 6.30am. We said it to the staff and got absolutely no satisfaction.
The outside of the hotel looks awful but the inside is beautiful and we were very happy with our stay. We made use of the swimming pool and enjoyed our stay.
The Regency Hotel is top class. We always stay there if we are going on a break to Dublin, the staff are very helpful and frendly and nothing is to much trouble for them.
Wife was slightly disappointed with the room but I had no problem. We had looked at a lot of prices and this was value for money. Will stay again when in the Dublin area.
The hotel is very well placed for Dublin City centre ( a 10 min bus ride with buses running from just outside the hotel frequently) Check in was smooth and trouble free. Room was very nice, clean comfortable bed and decoration in good state. The hotel was badly let down by its breakfast arrangements. The Regency takes the concept of self service to a new extreme. Fistly a sign which says wait here to be seated . .. .no one came. There were no free tables, although a large breakfast area and at the time we went for breakfast not terribly busy the vast majority of tables were littered with used breakfast dishes. Having got tired of waiting, with staff just by passing we had to clear a table ourselves and try to find cutlery which the staff just seemed to find really helpfull. We asked for coffee we got tea. We had to ask 3 times for butter and eventually people at the next table gave us some. A pleasant hotel, well located spoilt by its attitude towards breakfast
The staff were fantatic all over the hotel except front desk!!! I will return again as it is a great facility, location, great food & mostly friendly staff.
Room was quite good. However, a lot of refurbishment going on elsewhere in hotel and room numbers or signage a little confusing.
I liked the fact that the Hotel was lively plenty of music in the bar. Breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful The Hotel is so big that it is not easy to find the rooms while struggling with luggage.
The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. The food in the restaurant was first class.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definately revisit.
Good room. Excellent facilities. Help staff.
The olde world charm combined with modern facilities was very pleasant.
What we were most impressed with was the staff and the way they went out of their way to make sure our needs were met, from the man who showed us to our room, the front desk staff, etc. The morning we left, our waitress at the buffet heard us talking about getting a taxi to the airport. She told us there was a shuttle, then followed up by letting the manager know, and he personally made sure we were in the right place at the right time. The waistress was named Bridy.
The room was spacious and clean and the Leisure centre was great. The breakfast is fabulous with plenty of choice and the Season Restaurant provides a good choice of menu - the only thing is the chef's idea of certain dishes doesn't always match expectations of what the dish should be - Dutch Apple pie with no sultana's and cinamon is more English Apple slice! (only minor things) The hotel is undergoing refurbishment and the layout of the rooms means there is a bit of a hike from the fourth floor where the lift stops to the rooms on the fifth floor.
Leisure centre was great, staff very helpfull.
The room was really beautiful!
Ideally suited for Airport with convenient car park.
Value for money.
I find it a very central place to stay in, good value for money and very friendly staff.
The regency is a top class hotel with very friendly staff, it is also great value for money.
Excellant value for money.Always good deals available.
The room was in the recently refurbished part of the hotel and it was absolutely goegeous. The breakfast was lovely.
Excellent service, excellent restaurant, well-equiped (and spacious) rooms. A must.
Great hotel - easy to get to and from.
A lovely friendly hotel close to the city centre and the airport. Ideal as a base for visiting Dublin.
This was my 3rd or 4th stay at the Regency. I find it a very comfortable, friendly hotel. I like it because it is on the bus route from the airport and has easy access into the town centre.
Enjoyed the location. Close to quality restuarants. Peacful setting with old world style.
My booking through GoIreland was very rewarding. Not only did I find a great price for this lovely hotel but a smashing breakfast included in the price. The location and facilities were excellent. I fully recommend the hotel and GoIreland.
I liked the fact it was close to bus stop to get around and to get you to and from Airport.
Brilliant- friendly staff though it was after midnight when we arrived(late flight) food good-would def return.
We got a room that was very good value for money. I dont know if it was a luxury room. Check in and out was very rapid. And we are planning to come back to Regency May 13th and 15th. All in all very satisfied.
Lovely spot!
It was an affordable, comfortable and clean place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant.
A lovely hotel at a reasonable price.
Comfortable hotel with adequate rooms. View of back of hotel from our room wasn't too good but we didn't go to Ireland for the hotel room view! Bar food good and of course, the Guinness.
Nice hotel, perfect location on the way to the airport. It was clean, tidy and good value for money.
It was clean and comfortable.
It was absolutely great, we really enjoyed the stay. I was there with my children, the staff were nice from Reception through bar to Accomodation. Service at all times was exemplary. May be a shuttle bus from the Airport will make it better! I am not sure if its worth doing it at business point of view! Thank you Sunil Appat
Prior to this visit I had stayed here before with my sister and Mum and found everything fantastic. On the last occasion the only thing I could fault was my room, little dated. But overall I have nothing bad to say about the Regency.
Very clean and breakfast was first class.
all o.K.
VERY CONVENIENT COMING IN FROM NORTH SIDE.
The hotel was clean, staff friendly. Unfortunately had not time to use or view leisure facilities.
Very good hotel, just a bit far from the city center.
Good value for money, they served a very nice buffet breakfast room was quiet and kept very clean.
Convienient and reasonable but basic and so so service.
Easy to find, and quick access to city center and airport.
It was just fine. It is ideally located and well suited to a stay in Dublin. Great breakfast.
No frills establishment providing a good base. The bar was very lively and a good focal point for local residents.
Location very good, very accessible.
