The Emmaus Centre is a Retreat House and offers a quality, relaxed and peaceful setting for overnight accommodation. The centre also caters for people looking for some quiet time and can offer full and half board options on request. There are 62 bedrooms all ensuite with a mixture of Double, Twin and Single rooms available.

The Emmaus Centre is located close to Swords Village. The Centre is situated in 10 acres of tree lined grounds. We are close by the M1 and M50 Motorways for easy access from anywhere in Ireland. We are very close to Dublin Airport (7 min by car/taxi), an ideal base for staying either the night before a flight or on arrival after a long flight. Emmaus also offers easy access to Dublin City.

Directions

By Car
From Dublin – Take the new M1 motorway to Belfast. Leave the M1 at the Skerries Donabate exit (which is the exit after the Swords exit). After leaving the motorway keep left on motorway slip road. Sign for Swords on left. Follow it a few hundred metres down the dual carriageway take the first right across the dual carriageway. Emmaus is down this small lane on the left-hand side.

From Belfast/Drogheda
Take the M1 to Dublin. Leave the motorway at Swords Skerries Donabate exit. After leaving the motorway you will see a sign for Swords - follow it. After a few hundred metres take the first right across the dual carriageway. Blue sign post for Emmaus. Emmaus is down this small lane on the left hand side.

From The West
Take the M50. Leave the M50 at the junction for the M1. Leave the M1 at the Donabate Skerries exit (Which is the exit after Swords Airport Exit). After leaving the motorway keep left on the motorway slip road. Sign for Swords on left. Follow it a few hundred metres down the dual carriageway take the first right across the dual carriageway. Emmaus is down this small lane on the left-hand side.

By Dublin Bus
Take either the 33 or 41 bus from Lower Abbey Street in Dublin City Centre to Swords, then 33, 33A, 33B from Swords. Ask to be left off at the stop between the M1 Motorway and Estuary Roundabout. This leaves you a short walking distance to Emmaus.
By Bus Eireann
Take the 101 from Busaras or from Drogheda and ask to left off at the stop between the M1 and Estuary Roundabout which will leave you a short walking distance from Emmaus.

Taxi's are freely available in Dublin (30 minutes) and from Dublin Airport (10 minutes),

The Emmaus Centre has 62 Bedrooms all ensuite with a mixture of Double, Twin and Single rooms available. We also have a number of disabled accessible rooms available on request.

Our Double rooms have one Double Bed, Twin Rooms have two single beds and single rooms s1 single bed.
All rooms are ensuite with Showers.
Our bedrooms are located on the first floor accessible by a lift, all rooms are ensuite and tastefully decorated. The majority of rooms have lovely views over the extensive grounds and all rooms have internet access which is free of charge.

Emmaus is located in the Fingal Area of Dublin which is rich in things to do including an abundance of Golf Courses, Restaurants, and tourist attractions such as Swords Castle, Malahide castle, Ardgillian House and Gardens, & Newbridge House and Visitor Farm. We are also very close to areas such as the Boyne Valley, Drogheda, Howth, Malahide and coastal villages of Skerries, Lusk, Rush and Donabate. Emmaus is approximately 30 minutes by car from Dublin City Centre or 50 minutes by public bus.

Within 45 minutes by car guests can visit the famous Boyne Valley & Newgrange Visitor Centre Bru Na Boinne and the historic town of Drogheda. For sports fans Emmaus is located 20 minutes from Croke Park and an ideal location for overnight accommodation prior to or after a match.
