Good value for money for central locataion. Noisy but that is to be expected next to night clubs. Otherwise very comfortable and good breakfast provided. Would stay again.
The overall stay was excellent. The hotel was centrally located so walking to key sites was easier and cheaper than taxis The staff was very helpful in finding a real Dublin experience.
I stayed with my pal for a girls day shopping sex and the city style, saw the film, dropped our bags, shopped til we dropped into our lovely comfortable beds, rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, pillows were so comfy which I find is not very often in hotels..however one small thing, around the bath was a little murky BUT didnt stop me having one..its not our first time to stay in Temple Bar Hotel and it most certainly wont be our last for sure.....
I absolutely like everything about the hotel, from the excellent reception I receveived the minute I walked in the lobby, to the friendly service from the house keeping and resturant staff. The security was good, hygiene is remarkable, the location is perfect, great value for money!
It took two requests to get wash cloths and hand towels. Street front rooms get a large amount of noise from the street.
I have stayed here on several occasions in Dublin both for business and short breaks. I have found the staff friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast until 11 is nice too. There is a pleasant and relaxing ambience in the hotel. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The city noise is a downer if you have a room facing on to fleet st which can make it hard to catch an early nights sleep..
I would for sure recommand this hotel to a friend, the staff is really kind and proactive and the location is surely the best one to enjoy the cosmopolitan day and especially nigth life of Dublin!
The hotel is ideally situated for Temple Bar as well as City Centre. Rooms are small, but well appointment, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast included in room was quite nice and well staffed. Plenty of locations around for other dinner choices and, of course pubs. Great location and Hotel!
Have stayed in the Temple Bar Hotel several times. Very central for shopping, train station, buses and in the centre of things for a night out. Rooms very clean. Found staff very friendly and helpful even gave us a map of Dublin. Eventhough we had checked out the following morning there was no problem leaving our bags in the hotel while we were shopping and we collected them before we went home - it was great. The only negative I would have is the room we were staying in this time was very noisy. This was external noise which I am sure the hotel had no control over i.e. bins being collected especially the glass.
Everything was great! It was wonderful to check into such a nice, clean welcoming hotel is such an exciting part of town. Also- the front desk staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The baggage check feature was very handy.
Excellent staff, Room clean, perfect location.
For me the staff were amazing. extremely helpful and I have stayed in many 5 stars. I seriously was very impressed and am recommending the hotel to all my friends. You ahve great staff. Only negative thing i would have to say is that the shower curtain smelled musty. V small thing but worth mentioning i suppose (Room 333)
Absolutely loved it and everyone was so nice and helpful! Great location in the city as well!!
Chris the barman was very helpfull and informative. The roomservice was non existant. Fresh towels were left at 8am on the Saturday morning but they did not return to change sheets, clean the room or even make the beds. This was pointed out to the reception manager when we checked out on Sunday morning. He was going to look into it and inform us but when we collected out luggage later that day no message was left or any further information given.
The staff responded immediately when I asked for a room change due to noise from the generator outside etc. Excellent service.
The Service was absolutely unparalleled! VERY impressed.
The room was really nice, we were surprised. Breakfast was disappointing but in general we liked the hotel.
The hotel was a very nice tourist class hotel. No problems except we realized we had been given a smoking room. I am not sure if the reservation system allowed us to specify non-smoking or not. In the event, we did not bother to take it up with the staff.
Convenient, centrally located and comfortable.
Great, really enjoyed it. Centrally located and close to all amenities including shopping. Well, just a short scenic walk across the River Liffey or just around the corner to Grafton Street. Only thing I would worry about are the noise levels both internally within the Hotel and outside from the street late at night.
Excellent hotel . A better location there is not to be had.
The hotel was fantastic value for money, the staff were every heplful. Will defo use this hotel on my next visit.
The hotel was fantastic the service was brilliant we had a great time.
Really friendly and helpful check in staff and there was a great choice for breakfast.
Small but clean-only stayed for a night, didn't have breakfast so can't comment. However no complaints and it's in a great location for walking around Dublin.
The Temple Bar Hotel was very central, with a very warm welcome from the reception staff who were very helpful with advice & information. The hotel was very clean & the food was excellent, we will definately return again in the New Year & I'm telling all my friends & family to stay here when they visit Dublin.
Very good, location great, breakfast the best!
The breakfast advertised was 'Full Irish' so we were disappointed to find that there was no white pudding on the menu.
I thought the Temple Bar hotel was excellent - couldn't fault a thing about the hotel and would definitely stay there again the next time I need to stay in Dublin
Great location. Cooked breakfast ok.
Single rooms all located over nightclub area...very noisy on wed night also street cleaner lorry wakes me every morning at 6.00am
The rooms were great and very well decorated but the bathroom wasn't that nice for such a large bathroom it was dull.
Great location, very nice hotel, excellent friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
Good hotel, very well situated.
The staff has been great and very helpful. They took care of fragile luggage before check in and after check out in the most professional way. Moreover, a problem with the sink as I entered the room was fixed within few minutes after informing the staff. Just a couple of small complaints: the lack of a minibar (if there was any, it was hidden very well) and of a shower instead of the bathtub. But this last one it's just a matter of personal tastes...
Stay there regularly and find it very good, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Only drawback can be if you're put in a room over " Buskers " on a night when disco operates, but I never had problem in being accommodated in other side of hotel. The multi-national reception staff are consistently top-class.
A good standard hotel with very fair prices
i like the staff coz they were so helpful and they are well mannered ,for example on the day of my arrival that night my baby had a fever and i wanted to get her some medicine and it was late at night but when i went to the reception the night manager who was there was so helpful he took his time and helped us to look for a chemist that could be open at that hour of the night he was so helpful.
We were originally allocated a room overlooking a very noisy street, just next to a massive fan which made an awful noise. However, i rang down to reception and they found us a new room which was great. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked for extra towels and tea bags and they were left straight away. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had an excellent stay, thank you very much!
Very good. Suitable location for my work and central for entertainment. Bar service on the night left a little to be desired though.
I love this Hotel. I have read others opinions on it and understand what they are saying, However, you must remember that it IS IN TEMPLE BAR. No hotel will have a quiet area in this area. It is the hub of Dublin Night life. The location is great for shopping as well as entertainment. It settles down around the time I do so the noise is not a problem. In short. if your looking for a spot in the middle of everything this is the place for you, Great local attractions, good staff and hotel bar and friendly staff. If you are 60 years old or so....this may not be the place for you. But if your known to go out at night on vacation, you should love this place.
No Everything was fine it suited my needs for that weekend.
It was really top class hotel considering that it was rated as a three star.. the hotel staff were really polite. We arrived at nine am and they looked after our baggage until we could check in at 2pm. Breakfast is on until 11am which I feel is fab for us late risers, especially after a night out in the Temple Bar area. And it was lovely too - one of the best hotels I have been too. Would definately return to this hotel again on another visit to ireland.
Very good hotel, well located, excellent rooms and helpful staff. The barman on duty on Saturday 18th August was very helpful towards my friend as she had a purse taken in another bar. He arranged free entry into the bar next door and complimentry drinks.
The hotel was ideally situated for sightseeing and eating out. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and efficient.
The Hotel is excellent. I have stayed in the Hotel the last three times I have been in Dublin. It is very centrally located for both shopping and night life. It is also just a few steps away from the Aircoach which will bring you directly to Dublin Airport. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I was also able to check in early as I flew to Dublin the last time and there was no problem at the hotel. I also love the fact the breakfast is served that little bit later than most hotels so you can really relax and do not have to rush down for breakfast.
Transfer bus from the airport to the hotel.
Very central, great value for money with extremely helpful staff. I would stay again or recommend it to a friend.
Really nice, fantastic location, although very noisy first thing in the morning with the street cleaners. Would definately stay there again though.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Was very comfortable and the staff were wonderful.
Excellent location.
Great location.
Nice place. It was worth the price that we paid.
Nice hotel, clean, functional and very central. In a nice area of the city.
Clean hotel all round and gave an impression of efficiency. Staff were excellent and bar staff in particular made an effort to engage with customers without being intrusive.
Brilliant location.
Excellent location, good breakfast in the morning and great value for money.
Very good, ideal location.
In the right location for the kind of break we were looking for.
This is a very nice place to stay. It has what you need and is in a key location in the heart of Dublin. Also Staff are very friendly.
Great location, great value for money, very friendly and helpful staff. The best hotel I have stayed in Dublin - a definate place for me from now on.
Getting breakfast was not a problem on the Sunday morning at 11. Staff were nice.I used one4all vouchers to pay for the accomodation, no issue with using them. The lift was out of use as it was being replaced, no date of completion was given. Great, central location, in the heart of Dublin.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very comfortable and a great location. Ask for a room on the inside if you want some peace and quiet.
Central location. Good breakfast and nice staff. Good value when booked on internet.
Freindly well appointed hotel in a prime location. Excellent value for money.
Rooms were very modern and comfortable. Could not fault the location of the hotel or the staff. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would gladly return there.
Actually, we were so "jet lagged" by the time we arrived, I really have just a vague memory of the hotel. I remember the room was nice, the outside facade was charming, our breakfast was good and the pub upstairs was wonderful with great traditional music. I think the music was the most memorable part of the stay. The only negative thing I can remember is that it was very hot when we were there and no air-conditioning and the windows didn't open enough to cool the room. Of course, how often do you have a heat-wave in Ireland?? It seems to only happen when our family visits Europe, so if you need some warm weather just call us and we will bring some over from sunny California!
Loved it. Will go there again.
I had a great time staying at the Temple Bar Hotel although mid-week is my preferred time of visit due to the cheaper prices available. It was very comfortable, very clean and within easy walking distance of many great bars and attractions. Breakfast was great with excellent service.
Clean modern hotel right in the heart of Dublin...couldnt ask for any more.
It was very clean and well maintained. It was also surprisingly quiet given its central location.
Good central location near to all the shops and niightlife with friendly and efficient staff.
Clean, nice and the staff are very accomodating. Would go again and would recommend.
A very small room, but a brilliant location. Great for hooking up with friends, going out and getting home easily and safely.
