Stauntons on the Green is located on the south side of St Stephens Green Park at number 83 St Stephens Green, Dublin 2.

We are located a short 5 minute stroll from the Luas Green Line terminus at Grafton Street which operates out to Sandyford. We are also on a number of Dublin Bus routes which stop on Lower Leeson Street, just a short stroll from our front door.

From Dublin Airport guests can take the Aircoach bus. The cost is approx 8.00 Euro per person one way and the journey can take approx 40 minutes depending on traffic. You need to take the coach going the Donnybrook Route and get off the coach on Lower Leeson Street. Walking back to the junction, opposite direction to the Aircoach, you go straight through the junction onto the south side of St Stephens Green Park and we are located approx half way down on the left.

The beautiful St Stephens Green Park is on our doorstep. Grafton Street, Dublin's pedestrianised shopping area and the St Stephens Green shopping mall are less than a 5 minute walk away. Temple Bar and O'Connell Street are less than a 15 minute walk away. All of Dublin's entertainment, historical and cultural centres are easily within walking distance of this unique accommodation, for example: Newman House, National Art Gallery, Gaiety Theatre, National Concert Hall, Trinity College, St Patrick's Cathedral, National History Museum, Christchurch Cathedral, Temple Bar, National Library, University Church to name but a few.... We are also just a short stroll from Leinster House and Government Buildings. We at Stauntons on the Green can guide you towards the City's finer points.

Excellent place to stay: ancient building in the city, nicely decorated, a little private garden and really CENTRAL. The only negative point being that the bedrooms are very noisy and it can be a problem. The guesthouse would take benefit of being soundproof.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Common lounges could do with a freshen-up. Well used perennial stairs carpets were charming but the dust on them wasn't. Gardens looked sad but that was just the time of year, no doubt.
