If you have decided to try sking, proper instruction and equipment that is in good condition are what you need first and foremost.
Description
Skiing is not a sport that you can teach yourself. You need to be taught the easiest turns first. Later, you can try more difficult types of turns that allow you to ski faster and more efficently. Through all the stages, you will need an insructor who can show you the moves. Ski School is probably the best way for beginners to enjoy themselves while learning to ski. Private lessons are useful if you have the basics and want to learn some more advanced techniques.

Most slopes have several cartons of ski sticks of differing lengths that they will allow customers to choose themselves. The skis and boots are generally available for hire in the resort once you arrive, which is the most sensible option. It may be better to find a suitable pair of boots before you go, if your feet are an odd shape, because you might not find a comfortable pair at your destination.
