Saint Enda's Park comprises of 20 hectares of landscaped gardens and fields with riverside walks, walled garden and waterfall.
Patick Pearse generally known as the leader of 1916 Rising used to be the headmaster of a school  called Scoil Eanna on the grounds.  Following the execution of the Pierse brothers their mother reopened the school. She afterwards left the school to the state on condition that it be turned into a museum. The Pierse museum is an elegant Georgian house. It includes exhibitions and audiovisual tours. The museum is currently closed for renovations.
Phone contact  number is 873713534 to arrange guided tours of the park.
