The Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire is situated in County Dublin on the Dun Laoghaire coastline, on an elevated site of 4 acres overlooking Dublin Bay. In 2004, the new owners closed the Hotel, spent €70 million on an extensive refurbishment and re-opened in 2007. The hotel is 20 kms from Dublin city centre.

Those who have visited the Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire will agree the refurbishment has added to the splendor of this magnificent ‘listed’ building. It is a stunning vision of ‘old and new’. With high ceiling, wide corridors, intricate detail on the cornicing, Victorian staircases, large sash windows welcoming the natural light of the bay, the Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire truly stands above its peers in the Hotel industry.

Enter Dun Laoghaire from the Rock Road on the main N31. Go through the town past the pier & at the end turn right onto Marine Road, hotel on the right.

Dublin City is accessible via the DART train line, which is within 2 minutes walking distance.
Car parking is complimentary.
A coach service is available at the door of the Royal Marine Hotel , to/from Dublin Airport, taking 40 minutes and costs only €8 single or €14 return journey.

We have 14 Dedicated Meeting Rooms, 12 of which are set in the McCurdy Building. These have been meticulously restored to their present glory. The Dedicated Meeting Rooms can cater for delegates from 2 to 240. The Carlisle Conference Centre can seat up to 800 delegates and is a stunning venue for hosting any event including conferences, exhibitions, product launches, gala luncheons/dinners, charity events and even Weddings.
 The Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire is the ideal Wedding Venue and has a long tradition of hosting Weddings. Set on 4 acres of gardens with direct access to Dun Laoghaire Promenade and Pier, 15 Suites to choose from, a large Banqueting Hall, a large Victorian staircase with high ceiling and natural light – it is also ideal for photos both internally and externally.
All members of the wedding party will feel spoilt by the grandeur of this Victorian setting overlooking the Bay.
 It is worth noting, the Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire has recently been approved for Civil Ceremonies.

Food & Beverage facilities include Dún Steak & Seafood Restaurant, Hardys Bar, Laurels Bar and the Bay Lounge.

Sunday 5th April sees the return of the infamous Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire Carvery Buffet Lunch from 1pm – 4pm. The following Tuesday, 7th April 2009 sees the launch of the Early Bird Menu from Tuesday to Saturday, 5.30pm - 7pm with an Á LA Carte Menu also available each night, Tuesday to Saturday.
Every Saturday night, Live Music and Complimentary Finger Food is available in Hardys Bar.
