Its 'raison d'etre' is to serve the local business community but the Keeper, beside the Canal, is also a nice stop during a stroll along the towpath....

Irish painting adorn the walls of this attractive up market restaurant. Pigeon salad tiede or pate maison are possible starters, to be followed by grilled lambs' kidneys in masala sauce with chocolate terrine to conclude. Difficult to find, but highly recommended. It is situated behind 'Keily's pub' off the Morehampton road.

Can seat up to 60 people and hold a special restaurant licence. Credit cards are accepted and vegetarians are catered for....

The name sounds French, but the orientation of the cooking is actually Belgian. Don't let that put you off: they can do things like chicken waterzooie well, mix up some decent meatballs, have scores of dishes with mussels, and it is an unpretentious, fun place....
