The hotel was just as described with excellent staff and a friendly atmosphere. As a group of 9 young men we expected to receive a frosty reception but we found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. We would most definately use this hotel again if we travelled to Dublin.
The cleaner came into the room at 7.50 am and woke me up!!
They are very friendly and helpfull. We wanted to change the room and they did all to satisfy us in a very easy way. Some parts of the building are renovated, for the rest it is strongly recommended...
The Room were very clean, quite and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent. The Hotel is well location for access to the south city.
We were very satisfied with the hotel, the staff was very helpful, and the place was quiet.
excellent service, food and amenities would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone
Very clean. Staff very prompt at dealing with queries and generally extremely helpful. Would happily stay there again
We were both pleased with the hotel, especially the cleanliness which is my overall priority.
Good Hotel
Very pleased with all aspects of hotel.
The hotel was in a great position, with the canal with ducks and working locks (!) across the road, taxi rank at the door, and set in the beautiful Georgian area. Room was lovely, fantastic shower. Oh, and the breakfasts were super !
The one thing we really liked is that we were far enough away from city centre that we didn't have a lot loud people coming in late since we were with our daughter, but we were still close enough to walk into town.
The Mespil Hotel was wonderful, stylish clean and very professional. Checking in and out was swift and easy. Only slight downside for us was the fact it was a little bit further from the town centre than we expected but do not let this put you off!! Its peaceful surroundings are welcome and their were plenty of bars on the 15-20 minute walk to the town. Overall the Mespil Hotel was superb and I would be more than happy to stay again!
Attractive, convenient, modern hotel. Nicely situated on Grand Canal. Easy walking distance to City centre and Temple Bar area. Friendly and helpful staff
Quiet location but in easy access to Temple Bar district. It was very noisy when we stayed owing to building work going on.
I travelled with 2 sisters on a shopping trip to Dublin and we were all very impressed with the Mespil Hotel. We thought the Hotel itself was very modern and comfortable and was located in a lovely setting overlooking the canal. We dined in the Hotel Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. All staff members were extremely friendly and welcoming.
