There is an excellent bus service to the city centre. There are many interesting places close by; antique shops, craft centres, horse riding, greyhound racing and golf courses.
Car hire, services, taxi ranks and trunk roads N4, N7, N11 are all close at hand, giving access to scenic tours of County Wicklow ("the garden of Ireland") taking in Glendalough, Avoca, Woodenbridge and Blessington, as well as easy access to the rest of Ireland.
